Wedding Package
Craig will begin playing outside the wedding venue before the start of the ceremony as guests arrive and take their seats. He will play again upon the couple’s arrival and will continue to play while entering the venue. Craig has a wide repertoire of traditional Scottish tunes—let him know if you have a personal favourite! After the ceremony and once the couple has been announced, Craig will resume playing and will march the couple outside after they have walked down the aisle. Craig will continue to play outside your venue and while some photographs are taken. Craig is accustomed to playing in a variety of venues so be sure to chat with him about your plans.

Smallpipes
Craig is the only piper in Gretna and the surrounding area to offer bellows blown smallpipes. A unique, softer sound with excellent harmonics—ideal for extended playing time indoors, providing breathtaking background music while signing the register, greeting guests or during photographs. Also perfect for a remembrance to a loved one during the ceremony.
Only available as a supplement to wedding package, £30 extra.
Full Highland Dress
Full Highland Dress is among the most powerful, romantic and dramatic of all the symbols of Scotland and you have the option for Craig to wear Full Highland Dress at your event. This more formal attire is ideal for an occasion such as a wedding.

Pipes and Drums
Having a drummer accompany Craig adds an even deeper layer to the already heart-stirring sound of the bagpipes—the strong and steady beat of the drum supports the melody and harmony of the pipes.

Get THE Party Started!
Craig can attend your reception and give a 15-20 minute presentation for your guests. You can discuss with him where in the flow of events you’d like him to play. Some ideal moments are as the couple enters the reception, once the meal is finished or later in the evening as a pause in the festivities. Truly a memorable moment for you and your guests! Craig also plays regularly at birthday parties, venue openings, ceilidhs and galas, among many other events.

DIGITAL BAGPIPES
New in 2020, Craig now offers the option to have him play the digital bagpipes for indoor events. The digital bagpipe is an electronic instrument that perfectly emulates the rich, full tone of the real Highland bagpipes. Because they can be plugged in and amplified without the need to use the mouthpiece, these conform to current COVID-related regulations regarding indoor events. This means Craig can remain masked and you don’t have to compromise your dream of having a piper during indoor celebrations.

Want to surprise a friend or family member on their special occasion? Send a pipergram! Craig can make a surprise appearance during an event or play a tune on yer granny’s doorstep. A popular request during 2020-21 as many of you want to spread some socially distanced lockdown love to those you can’t celebrate with in person.

funerals
The bagpipes have been played to commemorate the loss of a loved one for centuries. The evocative and soul-stirring music of the pipes is especially suited to songs of mourning played by a lone piper. Craig can advise on fitting tunes such as a farewell lament or perhaps he can fulfill a loved one’s last request. Craig can also offer advice on where and when it is appropriate for him to play during a funeral, scattering ceremony or remembrance.
